Eras Nutriceuticals, Inc. DBA Eras Natural Sciences was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Vacaville, California.

Eras was created to develop and market a Manuka-based wound care topical. Wound Honey was developed by a California podiatrist who was looking for an alternative wound care solution for his patients with diabetic ulcers. After extensive research, he found Active Manuka Honey to have the ideal healing and nourishing qualities he was looking for, and began to develop Wound Honey.

He took the powerful, natural healing properties of Active Manuka Honey, and combined it with Aloe Vera to help soothe the wound and reduce swelling, and Vitamin B (Panthenol) to add essential moisture to the wound. Wound Honey was first used in his own practice, and after much success, was put on the market for the public.
