About Dr. Nordyke and Wound Honey

Having a special interest in wound care, sports medicine, and heel pain, Dr. Randolph Nordyke graduated from Sonoma State University in 1978 with a degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Mathematics. Dr. Nordyke went on to receive his medical degree from The California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California in 1982, and completed his medical residency in Santa Monica, and Los Angeles, California. Dr. Nordyke is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and a member of the American Sports Medicine Association, and is also certified in Cryo-Surgery of the foot and ankle.

In addition to being a physician at his private practice in Ventura, California, Dr. Nordyke has an extensive passion and history in consumer product and product development. In 1989 Dr. Nordyke founded Nordyke Laboratories where he created and developed two prior medical-related products. The company and its product line were acquired by Hickory Industries in 1992.
